My Wife and Riding Buddy

After I renewed my interest in riding, and went out and bought a Suzuki C50T, she said, "I want to do that, too!" Three months later she was the proud owner of a little S40. A year later, I got the off road bug and bought a KLR 650. My wife quickly claimed the C50T, and we sold the S40. We have ridden 2-up some, but most times she wants to control her own throttle.Who am I to argue?

Thanks Jon, she looks great for her age, I'm 2 years behind her.

I'm 16 inches taller than her

The jacket is an Icon design from a couple years ago (found cheap on one of those discount sites last year). The leather pants are just Gap leather from back in the day, the boots (her pride and joy) are from John Fluevog -- a great designer from right here in Vancouver, though you can buy em all over the place. Here's a link:

Oh, and my wife says 'thanks for asking' :)

From our 2,000 + mile trip this last weekend 4/12 -4/15
Rode down to AR for a 4 day weekend.
Together 31 years, married 28 years and still counting. Life is good.

Throncrown Chapel near Eureka Springs AR

Overlook on Hy23 (Pigtrail)

Oark AR, had to stop for some pie

On our way home. Running from the rain and storms. We stopped in Burlington IA and found the crookedest street in the world. Who would of thunk???

My lady started riding a couple of years ago when she bought a purple Honda Shadow 600 (She loves the color purple). I'm trying to get her interested in riding dirt and/or DS now. Here she's astride a plated '91 DR250. (to keep things bike related)

This is more of a portrait sort of picture.

My dog knows how important she is to me...here he is standing guard

In the grass...

I'm an amazingly lucky guy!
