Agreed, but let me play Devil's advocate for a minute.
It is a picture, it includes his SO and there is a bike in there.
So technically it qualifies.

On the other hand, Juan44 has done nothing to defend the pic, studio or otherwise.
It might be time for him to step up to the plate.
Or at least post a real one.

What the hell is there to defend? It's still better than those shots which get endlessly quoted and dribbled over.

I agree, does not matter where the picture was taken.....it qualifies.

And it is a nice picture.

I agree! The rules were followed, and I think it's great. Everyone looks real, even if the picture might not be an "action photo."

Silly me, I guess reading all the posts I did not realize I was in need of defending myself. Well here is the story. My dog was diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer. He was given just a short time to live. A friend of mine is a professional photographer. Due to my pup loving to ride the bike, we decided to get some shots to remember him by. We went to Red Rocks where my buddy set up two lights. We took a bunch of photos.

I liked the shots and they are the only shots I have of my wife of 22 years riding with me, so I decided to post them. Now my question....Why does anyone care about the other crap, it is a good picture of my wife and dog. I was out riding today while you internet critics were sitting around looking at pictures of me riding.

Now I believe that is the most I have ever said in a post.....and I am done.

P.S.

Thanks Jon and Jguerin for the nice comments.

I don't believe anyone was calling foul, or saying the pic shouldn't be posted. It is a great photo.
We were just trying to figure out why it looked like it does. Not everyday you see one like that.
Sorry to hear about your dog.

In my opinion there is no need to defend yourself...however, many of us certainly do appreciate the additional information....makes that picture even more fantastic and fitting. Also makes me a little jealous as a dog and motorcycle lover myself that my dogs don't really mix well with my bikes.....but at least my wife loves to ride

Again, great pic...thanks for sharing the rest of the story!

I have the same bike but with a stock windshield, is the windshield OEM or aftermarket? And which brand?
Do you know anyone that has tried the clip-on windshield extender? like the Touratech or Wunderlich?

Everyone was just trying to figure out the back story to the photo. That's all.

I was curious about the lighting too. Not so much that I thought anything less than it being a good picture with interesting lighting. I did notice that the hack has been ridden as evident by the lack of tread. And as far as dogs go, I like my dogs much more than 98% of people.

Glad you explained though, adds even more value to the photo.

I agree with other posters here, I like/love my dogs more than 99% of the people out there.

Good one.

I have to confess, I wondered about the lighting too. Love the story behind it.

I think if the other 'critics' were really going after you we would have had 27 posts discussing your lack of ATGATT.
