I believe her issue is the FJR is to quite and worries about getting hit. Plus you have to admit the Ultra is a dam road sofa.

There is this one though.

Not sure what you mean. Can you offer an example?

She is very cute. But she prefers a heavy, loud, under powered motorcycle to a FJR?

Get this woman on the back of a K1600GT. It'll run circles around that Hardly-Ableson. Except in the "look at me and all the noise I make at 45 MPH" department.

I'd let her ride on the rear of whatever she wants! At least he has a photo of his girl WITH a motorcycle. ( we're still waiting )

Women like Harley's because most of them don't know anything about motorcycles. Only what is deemed to be cool..

I'll work on getting some shots of her with the bike I can share here. Haha.
Outside the Delta! Didn't notice you were from Calgary until there...

The kid looks like trouble

your outside stereotypes are based on some very uneducated observations and/or rumors.

Yep, my Harley is nothing performance-wise compared to the FJR I just rode, nor to the comfort of the GoldWing we owned. It's not nearly as capable off-road as a KTM, nor as cheap as your DR. (another bike I like)

But it's crude enogh for me to fix alongside the road using nothing but a rock and a coathanger, and we like it more than all those bike I posted above, for how simply fun it is to ride!

If we were interested in being 'cool' (something I've never quite learned how to do in my 52 years),

we A.) wouldn't wear our full faces helmets (cause noone can see that it's us and that by default, how 'cool' we are),
nor B.) would we wear our textiles with the reflective day-glo inserts, 'cause everyone knows how un-cool that stuff is to wear. (but it sure is the only thing I'll ever wear on my bikes, especially how much rain we ride in out here)
or C.) we'd never have any fun, because our favorite thing to do is ride the curvy, quiet mountain and coastal roads we have out here (gosh*, they're pretty), and noone would ever see us out there and how 'cool' we are just because we ride our Harley.

I get what you're saying, and there are dumb Bozo's to be found on every brand out there...but don't group us all into one big box. It makes you look shallow.

Hey Patrick ......I agree and I believe my comment got this post off track and that's images of out smoken hot wives, girl friends and boy friends for some

However to set the record straight. My wife is not the typical "HD" women. Her comment is that she doesnt like how quiet it is and seating position compared to her road sofa. Honestly, the FJR is my zen.......twisties, speed, quiet and time to enjoy the open road in a different manner than my HD.

With that said ......Patrick your pentalized for not posting a pic
