BMW Xcountry KLX 250 Dual Sport Adventure

Me (9:53am) Dude, I know you usually have plans on Saturday, but I'm jonesing to ride
Mustang (10:04am) I happen to have some time today
Me (10:05am) I was hoping you'd say that:-)

And we were off! I met Mustang at The Little Spot on rt 22 in North White Plains at 12pm. I ordered a chilli dog and coke (brunch) and after 2 bites I ordered another; they were smokin'!

We headed north on Rt 22 through the towns of Armonk, Mt Kisco, Katona nd um.......a bunch more, for another 30 miles or so until we hit RT 6 and headed east into Danbury. After a bit Mustang veered off on a secret path and after a bit of scootching, we got both bikes on a gravel road along side some rustic train tracks

The gravel road was great.....A few miles were whooped out and after awhile I got a nice rhythm going. A couple quad riders in wife-beaters blasted by and waved. They descended off the tracks onto a 2 track and into a 50'-60' water crossing with unknown depth. We decided might want to skip it.

Mustang was complaining about his 60/40 dual sport tires not getting a good grip on the gravel.........My 95/5 Metzler Tourances didn't exactly inspire confidence either, but as long as the gravel wasn't too loose we were fine.

I wore a FS vented jacket for light protection. When we were moving it was perfect, but got hot quick whenever we stopped
