Brady - I've got a project in mind for ya.
I have 16 of these Aluminum Military Antenna Mast Support Poles that I use for a portable hammock stand (when trees aren't available). http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-ea-4-ft-Ri...item5891297a8c ![]() They are 4ft long and 1.75" diameter. I'd like a big long roll with a sleeve for each pole that I can roll up, cinch and clip shut to form a nice carry case about the size of a duffel bag. Plus, the sleeves would prevent the poles from clanging around together and making a bunch of noise. Does that make sense? Like a big huge tool roll, I guess. Let me know if this is doable for you and what it would cost.

Would you strap this 4' bag sideways on the bike?

Eh, probably not, but maybe!
If I'm on the bike I can usually explore and find two trees or other structure to hang from.

Hand Warmers
Interested in the hand warmers and looking for more information on them. Are they lined? Water resistant or proof? Fit over a set of barkbuster storm guards? Send me a PM with the information. For a Tiger 800XC

Yes they are lined, My multi- above has barkbusters on it. They are top notch. Have not used them in a rain yet. I would guess- very water resistant.

Hand warmers are fleece lined.
The official response to water resistance/proofness is that they are highly water resistant. The manufacturer of Cordura won't say 100% water proof. Someone earlier on this thread did claim that after a couple hour ride in the rain that they did not let water in. They will fit over the barkbuster guards. I'll update the first page to get that info more clearly listed. Thanks!
