One Givi V46 and two Pelican 1550 bags

I'm thinking of something that has two parts to it:

- one larger bag that fills the bottom of the top case,

- one that goes on top (maybe can be attached to the lower) that fills the top of the case and has a divider inside

I'd love to be able to use them independently which might make for too many zippers, but it might make sense to have the upper part be reversible and also work in the lower part of the case.

What you think?

Just discovered this thread. Your workmanship looks amazing.

Did you ever create this for the Givi V46 top case? If so, I'm interested in finding out the details. Thinking I don't need the divider inside the top bag.

I'd also like to order two liners for Pelican 1550. I saw one picture where you had a mesh or plastic insert for an atlas. Would like to find out what the cost is to add that to both.

Thanks,
Mike

I don't believe that the build you referenced ever happened.

I'll send you a PM and we can discuss the details on the 1550's.

Yeah, first I thought I wanted something like that, but in the end it actually didn't make much sense. Three case liners I had from my Micatech cases fit the V46 pretty well, though:

There is some room around them, good for stuffing some food, gloves, and small rain jacket/pants. Worked out well enough for me.

Although I have to get some Jesse liners soon ... still need to figure out how the shape should be to not get crazy but fill the case as good as possible.

Thanks for sharing your solution. I will think on this while I get my 1550 liners ordered.

damn that's pretty.

Question, have you made (and still have the recipie) to make bag-liners

for the Pelican Hardigg Storm cases, model IM2600?

Nothin fancy or special (this time )

Just the liners per each, zippered, (like in post 1022 except different color) with the soft handles .... maybe one red one, one black?

No hurry. Just dreamin.

?

All I need are the interior dimensions and I can whip a set together for you.

Two different color bags? Sure!

One bag with multiple colors? I can do that too!

In post 1022, that is a good example of my "standard" bag with the exception of the embroidery on the top. All bags come with handles and a double pull zipper and are either top or side opening.

Shoot me a PM if you'd like to order a set!
