Back from vacation

I am back from vacation and as of tonight, I should be all caught up on returning messages. If I missed anyone, I apologize. Please shoot me another message and I'll get back to you.

Thanks!

Colorado was awesome! The fun started in Colorado Springs, the to Pagosa Springs, over to Durango and up the Million Dollar Highway. Ended in Steamboat Springs before we started heading home. I have more pictures than I need of our bikes in the foreground with mountains in the background. Probably the best moto-vacation I've taken. Sorry our schedule didn't work out to get together!

I received my Zega Pro liners today. Awesome fit and workmanship. They look exactly like the pictured liners suggested for the Happy Trail Panniers.

I will order more stuff I have in mind in a few weeks.

I think I made one a long time ago. If you have dimensions of what you are looking for, send me a PM and we can work out the details.

Brady, sounds like a good ride. I sent you some money for the tail bag I emailed you about last week.

Girlie HepcoBecker crash bar bags

After I made a template for my bags and mailed it off to Brady these are what showed up

They fit the forward hoop to the diagonal support webbing perfectly. The Velcro sure feels strong enough, but I installed some grommets and some plastic inside each bag and mounted it to the diagonal metal web.

They DON'T move at all!!!

Thanks again Brady.

Nice bags. I like the five point velcro mounts or is there another strap on the bottom? What do you carry or plan to carry in them?

The left bag has a Slime air pump, plugs, patches and some other sundries. The right bag has a flashlight, zip ties, and some tools wrapped up in a couple rags.

The bags are meant to be basically permanently mounted on the bike and to carry stuff I might need in case of a flat. They are Scotchguarded to aid in cleaning and some water resistance.

The Velcro that they come with from Brady is darn strong enough, but since I had this.....

perforated metal web on the crash bar I moded the bags with a soldering iron and some grommets on the backside and a 7.5" x 2" piece of plastic (for support) inside. They are VERY secure and baring any significant drops they should last for years.

Payment has been sent for two of these in black. Yes, I am boring but I figure they'll get dirty eventually.

I put 18"x13"x6.5" as the outer dimension of the liners but feel free to modify since you have a lot of experience with these. I have the link to the panniers if you want to take a look. As mentioned, I have a ride leaving the 29th and would love them by the 27th to start packing. Thanks a lot!!!
