Finally finished catching up on this ride report, great writing and awesome pictures. We are planning a trip to Colorado next September and have added several of the roads you took.

Great report! You have a unique writing style that makes your report.

You know, I've been out there twice back in the mid 80's but both times in a cage traveling to the Western Rendezvous with my daughter. You've just shown me that I have to go back and I have to go on the bike.

Thanks.

Fantastic RR

Loved the whole 2nd hand experience, completely. A great reminder to those of us who own KTM Adventures as well as all types of bikes exactly what they're made for. Life's too short to put off your dream rides. Thanks for reminding all of us. Fly on!!

Karl, Thanks for the GREAT!! RR. The wife and I totally enjoyed it. We too have been out west twice on our HD so no dirt but your pics and stories were great and we want to do it again. The reason we are waiting is our dog greived herself so bad last time we went XC we were gone 17 days and we didn't recognize her when we got home. She's 11 now and we will travel again in a few years-all the love she gives is worth the wait. Thanks again and hope to meet you one day at a shindig here in Va.
Bob

What a great post!

Just came across your post wanted to let you know how much I've enjoyed reading it. You're observations and photos really brought back some memories and made me feel like I was there. Thank you!
