Right? Amazed me, I thought it was a goof.

In other news, I'm looking for help from 20-22 May in Queens with Mandy and Susan, nothing to do there for a few days...might just need to get out for some groceries or to eat. I'll be in India and won't be around to help out.

[QUOTE=Schickmeister;18573491]So my girlfriend is pretty set on the Bonneville (NOTE: If anyone knows of a used one, let me know...seriously.).

However, I sent her an email with links to all the major motorcycle brands I could think of for her to peruse and see what styles she likes, etc. etc.

As she's looking, she goes...and I quote, "What is this KTM junk?" [/QUOTE

So my memory is a bit hazy since it's been a year, but....figured one of you could help me out here.

Looking for a location on the Jersey Shore where I can pull my bike up close to the ocean as possible. (Not the bay, or inlet, or whatever, but the Atlantic Ocean). Preferably, in the northern part of the Jersey Shore. Most of the places I'm very familiar with have wider beaches and dunes blocking the view to the ocean until you're over the dune and onto the beach a la Bay Head, Pt Pleasant, etc.

i would say seaside, early to get a close spot right by the tourist trap boardwalk area. possibly somewhere north of there also off 35.

there will be an access fee, but if you feel gutsy, island beach park. take the pavement to the end, drive on the beach, get your pic and haul ass before your snagged. after a rain, the sand will be more compact. a shorter run for an access point would be gilkens, which is right after the gate and another spot at parking area 7 i believe.

there is also some vehicle access areas on lbi, but know nothing about those spots.

Hey, at least your busted chain didn't end up like scareraven's, right? On that note, I've got to check the chain on my WR, I think it might have a tight/kinked link since it's been chewing on the slider lately and the slack is in spec, no other changes...only got 7k miles on this chain so far.
