Mortimer!!!

Frank, you do know that I kinda invited myself on the last shindig I went on "Just showed up"

But seriously, sounds GREAT...love the method--and the OBDR is on the list--was just over on the Hey Road Rash thread talking to my pals there about it. India was great-- I came home thinking I wanted to do my rides in the US. So much wonderful country to see.

OK,
Thread hijack

Love my VTR. Big time.
But there is a problem with the milage. I wish it was better, but a low 30s is about average. Gearing changes and some tuning can make 40s possible. A main problem was that the Tank was designed with a 4 gal capacity.
A possible fix has been noted as getting a VFR tank and playing 'make it fit'
I have looked up many different ways to pull it off and I am pretty confident that I can perform the procedure myself.
Anyone pull of a tank-ectomy or tank-plasty? Any big hints on the work?
I will hopefully get all my ducks in a row and work it out over a long weekend.
It is not worth a build thread but an update should be made.

Hey I just discovered that WaWa stores are in VA and the closest one in Petersburg VA is only 130 miles away...gonna strap some coolers to the bike and make a run up there...so many things they make that i miss not having...down here they have something similar called Sheetz but they suck...no where near the quality of WaWa foods or diary products...I havent been into a WaWA in abt 3 yrs...

Sheetz > WaWa. Fact.

Get a BLT pretzel melt with cheddar and ranch and then I dare you to tell me your life isn't changed for the better.

Its all good. There was a time I would swear I was addicted to their Raspberry Iced Tea..I'd go through 2-3 gallons a week.
