Thanks very much for positing it up...I should have said something.

Chili Cook Off, among other things going this weekend, can't wait.
Hey Bill, we great day out today and really good to meet you and many thanks for letting me and my boy "look behind the scenes" at the Armory.

Doc, it was good to see you, glad you stopped by, I got wrapped up in a side bar and missed you on exit.

Jez, great to meet you, not everyday one meets a former member of the RAF. I thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will post up a pic tomorrow. I enjoyed meeting your son very much.

All the best.

Well I took the ride down to the armpit of Jersey
Actually wasn't too bad
Just as I figured though.....got there @ 9:50 & All the locals had the R1 & V-Max booked until noon
S10 was booked for first ride, so I opted for the 50th Anniversary R6. Ended up riding shotgun to to the lovely Julie

Bike is small yet ergo's didn't seem that cramped. Bike ran smooth & never really got too hot. Which is about all I can tell you about it, as the ride wasn't all that long. We did jump on 21 for an exit & I saw 72 mph.

The only good thing about these rides is you can get a better feel for the riding positon rather than just on the showroom floor & how they act in traffic

Next up was the S10.
Bike looks big & tall. Yet when on it, it hides it's size. The seating position was very much like the Multi, if maybe a tad lower & narrower feeling. You sit in the bike rather than on it. Engine felt kinda torquey. Was prepared this time for the on ramp.............laid back & cranked on the throttle then I seen the little traction control light come on
Now I know why it would just barely lift the front then put it back down. It worked very seemless. Never really knew it was working until I noticed the light.
Wish I had done some homework & disabled it. I'm sure I could have had more fun with it
Did see 77mph though! Which reminds me....Why are the throttle cables routed right across the dash display

First one of these Ive seen in person

So I don't have anything on the calendar on Sunday and think a nice day ride is in order. Someone tell me where I should ride to.

Brio's Pizza's good, and the roads nearby aren't too bad either.

War spoil. Great story behind that flag. The man who sent it...
hs father, even though it has been signed by all of his world War 2 buddies, used to tear small bits of it to use as a rag. he took the flag and send it t he took the flag and send it to us to display in our heritage room. It was seized, signed and sent home by members of my regiment.

trailer miles...

On the way to Barnegat Light and Mustache Bill's Diner:

That's a lot of trailer miles for a bike that just does local commuting and tagging....
