Some of the sights I have seen over the last 2 days are unreal. I saw 2 of those big tanks off the bases and 1 smaller tank leaned over. Sorry no pics today.

Sorry to barge in, but, any of you guys have any idea how Freehold faired? I haven't been able to get in touch with my mom. I know her neighbors would help her out with anything she needed, but, I'd still like to know she's OK.

Thanks

Generators / Help

The local Honda dealer near me in South Jersey received a trailer full of Honda generators on Sunday - something like 500.
They have sold @ half.

If someone needs a generator let me know.
I'd be happy to get one or more and bring them north to anyone in need.

If there is anything I can do to help you folks out that are in distress send me a note or give me a ring.

Hi Andy yea I see no tankers in berth anywhere in the port. Just two anchored in Stapleton and the rest still outside at Ambrose. The CG is still surveying the bottom trying to locate Pepes lost containers. They can't risk us striking one with a ship. A real mess to be sure

Problem is that nobody knows which or how many containers are missing, the servers were in the first floor and they got six feet of water going thru them.

My roommate works in Robbinsville, and there is still no power there. There are many places throughout mercer county that still don't have power, but there was not any flooding that I was aware of.

Thanks... this unreliable source said Robbinsville got hit hard and the reason i would doubt that is because this person is a pathological liar...a textbook case... lives in his own little made up world...but given the severity of Sandy...I just need to know...was there alot of downed trees and wind damage?

There are quite a lot of downed trees, but almost all main roads are open now and power is slowly being restored

Thanks, for the reply. I guess contacting the Freehold Twp. police is the next step, or are they going to be to overwhelmed.
I can't even imagine what you guys are going through. I lived in the Freehold area for almost 30 years (moved to NM 4 years ago) and spent my summers at the shore as a teen, but never saw anything like Sandy. I'm guessing it will be a while before I hear from most of my friends.
Do you think the Stumpjumper will be cancelled? I'm a former MCI member.

Best wishes to everyone.
