Yes, but the "style" comes with a cost, Walter. It seems that during the winter, your "super models" repeatedly need naps between struts down the runway! There's only so much my hammies and back muscles can take!

And the BMW signal switches are entirely intuitive. A left one for the left. A right one for the right. And a cancel button. What could be more logical?

So logical they don't use it anymore on the new models?

Cost savings. Now you get the cheap single switch, non-cancelling garbage you get on all lesser bikes! That's one of the reasons I'm keeping my 2002!

Can you use a regular battery tender on the Li-iOns or is there a special float charger you have to buy.

The Uly does the shitty ground start like shit shitty shit hot cold or just right. Never had it not start and have done all the tricks to make them better but it is what it is.

Probably going to get a new battery before the next season and if i do upgrade i dont want to have to buy a new charger. Or at least be surpirsed when I do.

May just go AGM.

Happy to announce that I've accepted a new job that I'll be starting February 11 in NYC. No more traveling, more free weekends for riding, and a job I'm REALLY juiced up about.

All that on the same day as my minor surgery (which went better than expected)...a lot of life coming at me today!

Good to hear Shick! Best of luck.
As for the battery issue, I never bought a tender as I never leave the bike for more than a week, but if can give me that boost in the AM, maybe worth it. And Red, come on man....'4 cylinder rider' I am trying to learn here

I was a Finance major, but this position is less finance and more business development. Very project and team based type of work and not so much crunching numbers in a cubicle. I'll be working with our external clients a lot too which are companies like Google and Facebook.

So who's going to the NY Motorcycle Show and Dr. Rock's party on Saturday? I'll be heading in with Shinndaddy (Rich) again. We're taking the ferry in from Port Imperial and meeting up at the show around 11AM ish. Probably heading over to Dr. Rocks place around 5:30ish and taking the subways again. If anybody needs help getting to Rocks apartment....Red....Gent... let me know and we can go over together. Shoot me a PM for my cell phone number.

The URLs on the tag spreadsheet...

If you haven't checked out PC's tag spreadsheet lately, you should. "Thisflatearth" has added the URLs for most of the tags! Very helpful. Thanks TFE!

No problem Doc. The google maps just werent working out so this gives me something to do on nite shift. Lots of photos missing though.

I was at motorcycle mall in Belleville on saturday and they said if you take the ferry over they will have a rep waiting to stamp ferry tickets. Then bring that ticket to their booth and free entry into a raffle for some motorcycle i believe. Unsure of what it was but no additional purchase required.
