That was probably the craziest of all the tags ever!

Now, back to motorcycle repair work for a second, was very proud of myself for actually working on my bike today. Yeah, I know, whodathunk?

Here is my Sallydog Fender Repair job from this morning. 4 drilled holes and two zip ties, and good as new!

And, I also tightened the steering head bolt all by myself, and added some oil! Can you believe it?

Saved myself about $400 of dealer service cost!

No polar bear, no tagging....just 200 miles of awesomeness on the bike today. Fired up after over a month in the cold without even a hiccup.

God I needed that.

OT (if there is such a thing in this thread), why do you have a NJ registration sticker for 2012? Didn't they do away with that requirement a few years back?

I put the last sticker they gave me on the bike, then stopped worrying about them. Nice not to have to waste the time getting the bikes inspected! Yeah for New Jersey!

Didn't realize there were any stickers that would've lasted through 20212... But don't forget now you have to worry about whether the cage behind you has any brakes...

So the rough route is as follows.

NJ > Baltimore (Friday Night)
Baltimore > Deals Gap
Deals Gap > Athens, GA
Athens > Venice, FL
Venice > Key West
Key West > Miami
Miami > Charleston, SC
Charleston > Cherokee, NC
Cherokee > As far up the BRP as I feel like.
TBD > Home

John Galt?

Ever ask yourself "Who is John Galt"?

Ever read Atlas Shrugged?

Was wandering around Florence this afternoon, and came across this:

Some capitalist had a good sense of humor, huh?

hopefully but at higher elevations you still need to be prepared...I've been thru all the areas you plan to ride in late sept and I had some very cold mornings riding thru the BRP...all in my backyard ofc...
