Too bad with the weather.

Thanks! I was so excited that I went out to meet a friend for breakfast on it.
and had to have him push me to bump start it.
After getting home, the voltage was in the crapper and once started, would not even reach 13.0 on the volt meter. Damn hondas and the rectifiers! I thought.
Called the mechanic that owned it and he said he changed it about 1500 miles ago, but had not changed the battery, and the battery never did hold much of a charge after that
But he gave me a battery figuring that the cells were shit and it did not let the charge through
Got home after riding on the Superhawk all day and put the new battery in and checked the voltage again, under throttle, it is jumping up to 13.9
And I am thinking: how does red power switch between inline 4's and Vtwins? It feels so alien for the first few miles!
But the 4cylinder Vtwin is really fun and the gear driven cams sound awesome!

Just an FYI, we're supposed to be able to see the Aurora Boreallis tonight.

Also, nice photos SallyDog.

Sallydog, love that last shot of devils tower and the pup. My dog would freak the hell out. she is a bit high strung!
speaking of which, I just took the hounds out and the sky is fairly overcast. I did read that this area's 'fireworks' would be visible about 11 or so.
On with school work until after that, all to see pretty lights and clear more riding time tomorrow!

Any one see it? Went out a couple times last night but clouded up later. Saw them many years ago when living in WNY.

I too looked a number of times but saw nothing. It was increasingly overcast so I went to bed.
