The only day Im free to ride this week is today. And I cant even ride today because the UPS man has my motor oil in his truck and he hasn't showed yet.

Do you have Trixie chase him around until you drain what you need?

Holy Crap!
I thought it was the place of Zee Germans to make simple things overly complicated (paralever front ends?)
But the vacuum petcock on the superhawk is ridiculous. They have a tendency to wear out and the replacement kits are about 40 bucks. So I figured I would take it apart and clean it, to see if the diaphragm was torn.
LUCK! no tear, cleaned, and reassembled and it is still sealed- no leak.
But now I can not get it to flow fuel for the life of me. I did an exhaustive search and tried every test and rebuild I could fathom. It has 2 fuel lines off it and the left one (front cylinder) is always full, the right one is always drying up and it runs like a half assed single. It did this in the first place, now it fuels barely at all. I thought I was the dumb one (honest question) and tried to see if 'off' was actually 'on' lo and behold, fuel gushed into the inline filters! and then stopped.
I can turn it from off to on and then back, each rotation spills some more fuel, either way, and no sort of mid position or full on then back a hair seems to make a difference.
It is a damn fuel valve- why did this have to be a total mindjob to DELIVER FUEL?

Jason!!!! Holy smokes.

That's got to be the nicest thing I've ever seen a son do. Fantastic. A Z06 is a very special machine...very few experiences like that in my life, and he's going to have it every day.

Awesome job.

Frank...my helper on Sunday, I can't remember if this is a repost, so regrets if so....I was drankin' a little that day:

Awesome Bill!
One day maybe we can setup a play date. We will let Walter stay and puppy-sit and you and I go for a ride while the kids play.

Wow! One of the best videod, best edited piece of adventure filming I've seen. A veritable Go-Pro advertisement. Thanks, Jerry!

And while we are on the subject of pets, here's my two springers, Maggie and Lizzie, from Vermont:

Now, alas, we are down to a well-fed guinea pig (the wife is allergic to dog hair):

p.s., the guinea pig is about the size of Dockingpilot's little white fluff dog!
