my 100 pounders,
I don't have a picture of the python, but he is not the best riding buddy. Not that I would EVER attempt a sallydog trip with either of these two mutts!

Nice Dogs Scareraven

I didn't know where to post this I guess this is the place
Spent the day at Motorcyclepedia for the midamerica auction

Some nice bike on the block

Price goes up quick

here is one that didn't make its reserve (nice clean clean bike)

here is what I learned on. Yes it explains how I ride.

I had a nice chat with Paul JR from OCC over this one I found out he is really a down to earth motorcycle guy.

And my parting shot
.

Tomorrow off to see Redpower run Pocono speedway (weather permitting)

New England Trip

Okay guys...planning a 4 day trip to New England, 2-up.

Not looking for long mileage days (relatively speaking) and am looking for the scenic routes as this is definitely a stop and smell the roses type of trip. That being said, I would like to check off all the New England states (RI, MA, NH, VT, ME). I realize that might be a challenge given the time and lower mileage days.

Suggestions on general routes/roads/places to stop by? Trying to avoid the super slab as much as possible.

Test Ride!

My first MV & it's an F3
Went to go ride the new Hyper. But the Demo unit @ my favorite dealer was broken. Someone thought it had an auto blipper for downshifts
Bike is now stuck in 4th gear

So I decide to take out the MV F3.
Definitely a sharp looking bike with all the usual goodies.
The engine is stronger than the usual 600cc. inline 4.
The engine really doesnt do anything until 7k then pulls hard into oblivion (14.5K)
The sound coming from the exhaust, along with the intake howl is incredible @ 14k!
The engine is probably so weak down low due to the poor/fluffy fueling @ those lower rpm's. I thought it was going to stall whenever I took off.
The seat is hard as a rock, I think I've sat on softer picnic benches
But even being so hard it never bothered me in the 50 miles or so I rode it. Testament to how good the suspension was.
The quickshifter on it is THE Best I've used so far.
My only other gripe was the dash.........very hard to read.
Overall another fine eyetalian ride

THANKS YellowIron for the auction pix

Agree on the Puppy Dog Route.

First, it's got a cool name. Who doesn't like puppies---and DP's plus more has got to kick ass.

:-D

Loved the video Vince. Always remarkable to me how sticky someone else's tires look in the wet--looks scary when I'm not behind my own bars.

Tube Swap

I have a brand new Michelin Ultra Heave Duty (4mm) tube in 140/80-18 size that is more appropriate for enduro or motocross than for use on my bikes.

I'd be willing to swap for the same size new in regular heavy duty version- Michelin or other quality brand. Only make sense if we can do a local swap. PM if interested.
