I actually owned one of these. Bought it brand new from ISDE Capt. . Drew Smith in 1970 something. I had the 175cc Six Days.
7 speed gear box. Sachs engine.

Cool stuff Vin.

Somewhere in NJ-- in the Amwell area (iirc) is a row of what I think are maple trees (maybe 15 or so) that all "turn" orangeish in the fall.

I took a picture of them a few years ago in one of my ride threads, but I can't find it or remember where they were.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

tia

Don't be a wise ass.

I'm asking if anyone knows where the trees are; not if anyone knows the feeling of not being able to remember things

Walter, if you take two advil each morning, it's supposed to help with the memory as you age. I was gonna start doing it, but can't remember to take the pills!

Seriously, head to Vermont. There are Maple trees all over the place! I used to tap them in my front yard!

I have maples on my block and in town-- I'm looking for these maples for a particular reason.

Is this the kinder gentler adventure rider?

A bunch of old men sitting around talking about the leaves changing in the fall.

A first sighting

I've lived in our house for about 42 years. We've always had a lot (well, relatively speaking) of wildlife pass through the yard, especially birds. I saw a bird today that not only had I never seen here, but had never even seen a picture of before! What's odd is that according to a site I visited it's a common NJ backyard bird-- Black and White Warbler. Very striking coloration.

Anyone else have them?
