Thanks. And definitely, if you have a track bike and the time, a few track days would be good under your belt before trying to digest the Keith Code stuff. But the original questioner needed a track bike.

Speaking of racing, finally there is a reason to watch Nascar!

X4 Be safe everyone, and have a great holiday.

This time of year, I look at what I have, and am thankful for, knowing that a lot of people in this country are much worse off than myself and my family.

Took a nice ride out to Quaker Bridge today out in our lovely Pine Barrons.

4 miles back in the woods off of Route 206.

It was a nice day for a ride.

I don't know what happened though.

I passed this spot going in without a problem!!!

So the temp was up enough for a nice ride and a dealer 1/2 hour away was having an open house, perfect excuse. Had nice ride up look at some stuff and met some people. I was driving through the parking lot at low speed when a guy in an SUV changes his mind to where he wants to go, throws in reverse and backs right info my line. I locked em up and the front end got out from under me and down we go. Bad enough to dump it but I had an audience too. So I proceeded to express my feelings to the guy in the SUV with all the expletives I can think of and he tells i should be more understanding because he is a rider also. Great, now our kind are out to get us too. I had leave quickly before my fellow rider accidentally got hit in the head with my helmet and I did not properly thank the two guys on the GS 1200s and some others who picked my Uly up for me, so thanks guys and we'll see you on the road some where. be careful ou there guys.

You lock up brakes going low speed in parking lot? Good lesson for a new rider to ALWAYS expect the unexpected.

BTW..ULY has some of best brakes out .

It was either lock em or hit him he backed right in front of me. And while hardly a new rider with over 30 years on the road you are right Doug always expect the unexpected

I was thinking of you.

I believe that was before I took a sand nap !

I picked it up with not problem.
I surprised myself when it went so easy.
It has been a while since it has been on it's side, but I remembered how to do it !

I should have done a sand angel while I was there !
