Yeah Doug, Roland Sands & Erik Buell seem to be the only ones able to make something rideable, with that Harley Irigation Pump motor

ScareRaven, yes the Monster may be it.
Website says "The rear view of the bike has been designed keeping in mind the possibility to easily fix dedicated side panniers
So that the mounting system is perfectly integrated with the bike's style when panniers are removed."
Waiting to ride it

The Rivale will be a blast to ride but I don't think luggage will be easy
I was hoping to see the Turismo Veloce

The Tuono was looking pretty good in White

StBob,Yeah the Kawasaki is definately not a looker to me either.
Everything I've heard/read about it also, has been good.
The saddle bags looked kind of a boxy/industrial afterthought to me.
Didn't go with the curvy/swoopy lines with rest of bike.

And Landmarker, Kaching!! Odometer goes up one more

This is my favorite mass-produced bike that uses a Harley engine

Be careful what you guys say about the ninja1000, Jezza still lurks here.
I actually like the look of the bike, just not the luggage.
and like I said Red I am amazed that you did not duct tape bags on the tuono.
In a world were I got what I want , There is a 'touring' package available for the 1290 Superduke. When I read that I shed a tear, it was as if Gerard Kiska designed the bike just for me, then priced it WAYout of my range.
Carry on fellas

Don't feel bad, you're not the only one that didn't make it to the show. I got home from work at 7 am and just woke up an hour ago. Show would be closing by the time I got there.

That hideous looking exhaust looks like it's going to melt the side cases.

Still love my Ninja, it just doesn't like all the salt they're laying on the roads.

Meanwhile the KTM is going through another Jekyll and Hyde transformation. In the spring it was still a dirt bike, by mid summer it had turned into a Motard street hooligan, that change worked very well. A 500cc bike with near 60 HP and a dry weight of 246 Lbs is always a recipe for fun.

Now it's time to change again, this time into an ice racer

Wow they look like giant pop rivets used for ship building , I have 500 1" Kold Kutter Ice Racing Screws in the bag in the photo, and some thick Ice Masters Tire Liners, so the screws don't touch the inner tube.

I should be ready for my first test ride 1st week of January. Keep us posted how yours goes.

BTW I really liked the electric trials bike you got for your kids
