I was going to try and stay out of this thread, and for good reason, plus the way it is going it will get bounced down to JM soon.

I was going to bring up the current SJ Tag in Avelon....so perhaps the off-line discussion can still discuss the Tag and therefore keep us out of the basement.

It's true, perhaps, that one of us should have gotten it by now (though I'm not so much south as central if you ask someone from down "there").

The dynamic down here is just different. Just the way the stars align.

We might be lame...perhaps for letting the tag sit. For me, I'm just not sure if I'll ever recover the desire to way g'bye to the kids and wife again when I don't have to. Perhaps duty will keep me home more than desire. But the result is the same. I'll pine occasionally for lost freedom, but being away for 2 1/2-3 of the last 5 years makes it hard to pull on my helmet.

I don't think anyone is saying otherwise...but I am one of "those SJ guys"...it's just the combined dynamic of the group.
