Got to work. It's been too slow to hire Tom to watch the shop, but too busy to just close & go riding. Can't wait till November, when we go to a 4 day work week.

Hey Mike,
You got me worried there for a minute. I thought that I had lost a day.
I'm retired so don't usually know what day, month, or year.

That must be nice Vince. I got you message yesterday...leave your number next if you remember it. I'm mowing grass and such, and every time I crank that damn mower up it pours. I can't wait until the grass mowing season STOPS!

FYI, Looks like there may be a possibility of some sprinkles for FRI, those who know me, rain is just an added bonus. Hell, were all going to get wet with the water crossings anyway. Fueled and ready to ride.

I just came across this ride, I'm interested, looks like fun. I'd like to make both days but not sure yet. Has it been determined if it's a big bike friendly ride or nasty single track ride? I have access to a GS 1200 if it's mostly forrest service roads or my Aprilia 550. The Aprilia is a little short on fuel range, ~75 miles running wide open, never done a trail ride with it so I don't really know what the range is. How far are the gas stops and should I tote a spare fuel can?

The places we ride tend to be more of the FS roads. There may be some FS single track and water crossings if interested. If you aren't into the more aggressive stuff, you will be able to bypass those sections and meet back up with everyone. I would consider the smaller bike as it will be more fun.
See you when you get here!

Typically there is no nite riding and the fuel stops are in range of the 75 miles u can hit. My xr needs go juice ever 90 at the most so you should be ok. If not will borrow some from a klr owner lol

On the T shirts they are a no go. The lady who was making them had to leave state for a family emergency. Apparently her daughter having a baby is more important than a few T shirts.... Maybe Next time!

I did want to make a last minute note that it is best to carry a few $$ for lunch each day. I am sure we will end up in Tellico at some point and the restaurant most go to there does not take charge. Figured I would give all of you a heads up!

Beers.... closest place I know is 20 mins south of the camp ground. I will be bring up a "few" for myself. Might have one or two extra Busch's to share.

BC61- You going to bring that Aprilla??? I am interested in seeing it in action!!

Guess you haven't been on a GS Adventure yet, just under nine gallons.

I was just up in the area Monday evening, left Tellico around 7pm came across 384 to 126 and then beaver dam into Murphy. Had a blast flying down the roads. Since it was dark it was easy to see if there would be any head on traffic.

Still trying to sort out if I can make it. If so then yes I'll probably bring it. I haven't ridden it in a while and I need some seat time on it, getting ready for Black River Stages.
