Loving all the old school Suzuki GS's in this thread. Especially the Katana's! I'd love to have one of those.
My contribution to this thread, my tried and true GS850G. In it's standard street eater configuration. It is actually a surprisingly good streetbike, especially with upgraded suspension and good tires and brakes all around. The motor and chassis are very good, and a blast to hustle through some good corners. ![]() And then there is the other side of my bike. Throw on the mermite cases that I put together and ride it cross country. It's comfortable seat and ergo's mean you can ride all day if you want. It's a real mile eater. Here is my bike just south of Ft Bragg on the PCH. 3500 miles from home, and halfway through the trip! ![]() Edit: For the sake of the interested parties and full disclosure, I'm 23 and the big G was first bike when I was 19. Ridden several other bikes since, but the Suzuki is still the only one I call mine. And who says young guys only want plastic fantastics! |

I've got what used to be a GSX1100 from '83. I've had it for almost 20 years now and it's undergoing changes every year. Last year I added a hack:
