My 1977 GS750
Great bike; 22,000 miles, runs like a dream. It came with the Bates bags and a custom (Corbin? no label) seat. I've since located an original seat, which I use for around town riding, but the custom goes back on for anything over an hour.

90 Kaw ZR550 Zephyr ![]() I really like the late 70s superbike look and was going to do a 550-750 Kawasaki or Suzuki. bu then this popped up. All the looks and better chassis/suspension too.

Thunderhill Raceway in Willows. October, 2003. That was my last trackday, and it came the day after my last race. I hung up the old leathers due to time, money, and health constraints. I miss it, too.

"Fours" in my past ( and one "two")
$100.00 400-4 I found last year....carbs were fouled with ancient gas.....decided to pass it on to a person who wanted a money pit
Found this little 1973 350 - 4 in a guys shed ten years ago (or so).....trailered it home for $250.00. Tank had some rust chunks in it but she ran like a top......it went to a guy in No. Cal. who wanted it worse than I did..... ![]() My first "road bike"....a 1971 500 - 4. Bought it from the original owner in 1975. She was a great bike and took me to a lot of places...... ![]() Purchased this from a friend years back..750 Honda Night Hawk...had only 900 miles on it.......three years old and still had the blue crap on the white letters on the tires. He rode it a few times and was scared of it....never even had washed it when I bought it...great bike but a hard cold start....... Quit laughing at my "riding / touring gear "....... ![]() Not a "four" but I have to admit how stupid I was......Found this 60 something Honda 450 Black Bomber 12 years ago and three other bikes in an old guys back yard...3000 miles on the clock.....bike was 100% complete and original...speedo / tach was perfect. All the rubber pieces were rotten and the tank badges crumbled under my touch.....The tool pouch appeared to have never been opened.the chrome was perfect and it was a "time capsule"........I kick myself for selling it every time I look at this photo.....the old guy I bought it from was an ex-sheriff who took bikes as colateral for helping bail out offenders from his jail....some of the guys never came back for the bikes....he had keys, titles, etc. He stored them under a lean to in his back yard after draining the gas from them....he never even rode them but did title transfers on all of them...Every one of them were running with an hour or two of preparation....I bought four old Hondas from him for $500.00. The Black Bomber, a 1961 150 Honda Benly in similar condition, a 1964 150 Honda Benly and a trashed old trail 90.....they were all sold ...today they would be worth quite a bit.....![]() The "Benly Twins"..............
