Just moved here...need a bike

Hey,
I just moved up to Alaska to start a new job, and the girlfriend is coming up to visit/scope out the place. I would like to take her on a motorcycle ride, plus get one more ride in before the season ends. What is a good place to rent a bike? Anybody have anything for sale of the dual sport nature?

Oh and also, I sold my car before I moved, any body trying to sell a 4x4 preferable manual?

I've got an '02 GS for sale, but then you'd need new tires by the time I got it there and would have to fly me home to Memphis.
