Why I like my KLR

Here's the latest production on my KLR.
Got some footage of the countryside north of Brisbane -starts at about 5:30.

No - we drive on that side of the road. :-)

Nice first post. I enjoyed the European countryside from the comfort of my office easy chair this morning with a cup of coffee!

Found it interesting that you are on the left in the UK and then, a ferry ride later, on the right (in France I presume?) Is it hard to keep the lane rules straight?

Is that you getting passes by both a lane splitting police officer on a bike and then a high speed scooter rider? LOL

Cheers!

Cool video of a place I'll likely never get to see. The KLR certainly is the bike the will do anything but nothing well. As for the 08+ KLR having issues worked out, I know a large number of owners with top ends ripped off, wiring harnesses stripped out and large oil usage who'd disagree. Reguardless an 06' KLR was the first motorcycle I ever bought and I still have it. Many mods and improvements later to accommodate my height/size and make it more capable off road.

Nice video. At 11:30 that KLR sounds a lot like George Jetsons car.

Thanks mate! Well..it wasn't so hard as I expected to ride on the right. Actually I drove most of my life on the right but this one it was the first trip after I get used to drive on the left for almost one year. I mean if there are many cars in traffic, is easy coz you follow them, but if the road is empty and if you want to turn left, is a bit tricky, but not very hard.

In Paris the scooter drivers and motorbikers are a bit insane but I guess they are used to it.

Dual sport ride in Morocco with two Suzuki V-Strom

A video from my last trip to Morocco. I've visited the Erg Chebbi in Merzouga, the Gorge of Dades in the High Atlas, and the atlantic coast, in Agadir. I rode with my brother and two nice black weestroms...

Regards.
