I just posted this on our ride report (did the western TAT, two up on a KTM 950). This was taken on the Long Canyon Road in Canyonlands (utah). Nothing too exciting, but scenic.

Wow that looked like some rough/sandy stuff. Nice job getting through there with a passenger. That huge rock that fell near the road was sweet!

I did the east side of the TAT over memorial day holiday week.
Bryce did a very good ride report here : http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=472553

I ran a video camera behind my windscreen for a good bit of the ride. Here is a small portion of the videos. This is Warloop road. It was about as far west as we made it this year. We are planning on picking where we left off next year and see how far we can go in another week or so.

This was done on a BMW1200GS Adventure.

Enjoy: http://i207.photobucket.com/player.swf?file=http://vid207.photobucket.com/albums/bb279/ke4yyq/warlooproadcopy.flv">

Thanks for the video. Did your camera survive the mud bath around 2:30?

Yes I have been known to fall down a lot :( Yes there have been many other laydowns. These are just the few that happened while the camera was rolling.

This movie cracks me up. With the Valkyrie soundtrack, you know if Wagner was alive today he would be rolling on a BMW. I found a super old version of the William Tell Overture that is public domain to use for my next video. "The Lone Ranger!"

Loved the upside down. At least it looked like a semi soft landing.

The statue Christo Rey is at the very top of a mountain, and the road up to it is pretty amazing, with lots of switch backs. It's a very important place to the people of Mexico.
