Sputnik Sidecar

Recently purchased a BMW R50 which came with a Sputnik sidecar. I do not need the sidecar. This is currently located in Wabash, Indiana and I would like to ship the bike to Los Angeles soon less the sidecar. It has a windscreen, rear luggage rack and trunk compartment, and side step for easy passenger access. I am told it is desireable due to it's light weight. Have photos with it on the bike, bike not included :)

Price: $1000 obo

Location: Wabash, IN soon to be Los Angeles

I was a fan of the P11 but the local Norton dealer only ever sold one and they hated it.What wonderful old British iron with there under square dimensions montrous torque and glass transmissions.

bike runs great. avgs 33mpg at highway speeds. everything works great for a 28 year old bike. while not a Garage Queen, it is in excellent shape.

the Hack has a windshield with a soft cover to protect the rider.

i am looking to buy/trade/build a rig better suited for fire roads and trails. something like a Tiger/VStrom/GS/Quota---CSM/Ural rig.

That is a nice looking rig, almost too nice to separate.
Good price for the car.

Cool but it would be difficult to believe it's much of a handler, it would be really cool if finished up wih center hub steering and automotive wheels.DB

I wonder if there's any trail reduction in that adjustable front end.DB

Isn't it $4000 or something over and above a regular tub? They say the only one in NA though.

Where have we seen this one before

I have looked that over before, someone had a complete Gould just up the road from me and Claude had one in his shop.
Since I'm a heretic anyway sidecars in the US lost a decent provider when HD decided only to build trikes, even though I'm not a HD man they had a good thing going.DB
