Agreed! I was interested in the engineering that went into those adapters. I would imagine a similar setup at the front as well to mount the rotors.

I'm thinking, as Ked mentioned, there's a bit more than 4K between the LL and rims with adapters if you had to farm the work out.

9K for the entire outfit is a steal.
I said something along those lines to the seller in an email I sent him to get some details on the disk wheel conversions. He just responded with a source for the wheels. I guess he had little to do with the conversion.

I'll stick with my spoked 15 inchers for now.

Not mine, no relation, but any ad as well-written as this one deserves some love.

That ad made me laugh my butt off. People in the carpool lane at my nephew's school are looking at me all funny now.

Top end for a 2001 Ural

I have a top end set for for 2001 Ural for sale. 2 cCyclinders, pistons, rings, gaskets and a set of valve cover gaskets. I don't have the hack anymore but still have this. Make me an offer. I don't know how much it will cost to ship inside the US, but we can discuss that. I don't get to ADV Rider as ofter as I should. If interested, please email me at:

If it weren't on the wrong side of the country, it would be mine. I really want a hack for my KLR. Call me crazy, but this is the asylum...
