Yep, two things I will never own:

A BMW, because well, I just can't afford them.

A Harley Davidson, because I just can't afford the t-shirts.

OK, so I could technically afford a BMW, but I just can't bring myself to pay that much for a scoot. I'm dead serious about the Harley though.

^^

I own beemers because they're cheap... and fun... when I'm not being challenged by the German engineering.
Granted, their AIRheads. doG I wish BMW would come out with a /8 airhead and ditch all this fuel injected, electronic controlled crap.

Jay's rigs (that I've ridden) are very smooth though, and one reason I rarely take test rides on new beemers is because of that raht there - the lure of a new bike.

Jay - I checked your website and didn't see it listed there?

Jay makes an amazing product! Even though I've never ridden one, I drool over his builds on here daily. They are a blend of art and utility at its finest.

The Ural is the only new bike I've ever owned, and technically it's the wife's. For me, 1973 is my newest ride ever. So like you, I hesitate to sit on anything new and shiny, especially if it has amenities like windshields and heated bits. I might like those features and feel inclined to buy a bike that runs for once.

But seriously - good luck with the sale - sorry 'bout the reason for it. Nice lookin' rig. *personally, I love the funky fairing! Does it have lowers, too?
