Only 42k miles means a lot of life left on that ride. Pretty good deal.

2000 Harley Electra Glide & 1999 Harley Sidecar For Sale

Hi

As my scheme to put together a sidecar rig (so toddler and mom can motorcycle ride with me) did not have the desired result, I'm thinking about selling my 2000 Harley Electra Glide and 1999 Harley TLE Sidecar. Low miles.

I was thinking somewhere under $14K.

Since someone asked via email, the sidecar could be detached and sold separately.

Here's a little history on my acquisition: I paid $4,500 for the sidecar (which I haven't had too long.) It has some parts (e.g. leaf spring) chromed. From the seller, it came with the frame mounts, wiring harness, brake line and such, but not the bike-mounted items such as the longer clutch cable, T for the bike's rear-brake line, and kit to relocate the rear brake resevoir between the front downtube.

I read the full sidecar mount parts list from an internet dealer's website and then ordered the odds and ends from one of those 20% Web discount Harley dealers (Surdyke, Hale, etc. ) I then spent several evenings working on the brake, clutch, and sidecar mounting.

I removed the chrome rack from the rear of the sidecar and mounted a tourank fuel cell which runs to a T under my gas tank. That should be easy to undo if you want. I have some white reflective pin striping down the side and some black material on the rear that reflects white.

Good deal. Probably in better shape than my Friendship II was when I bought it.

That thing isn't too far from my house. If I were home right now, I'd be fighting the temptation to pick it up. Then again, I don't have a good candidate for a tug laying around right now either.

Ural Hack in Cincinnati

Would somebody buy this and let me test ride it? A Ural hack for $3500 is awefully tempting to me, but my girlfriend would kill me!

For Sale

Had to put this on market. My wife and I got in a motorcycle and decided we're going to take a break from riding and need some extra cash for bills and what not that may come from it. It's a bingham sidecar. I was going to restore it but need the cash more. It's located in Mission Viejo, CA. Asking $500obo

Saw this ad this morning.

http://longisland.craigslist.org/mcy/2657784519.html

If I wasn't saving for a wedding right now I would probably go take a look at it, and most likely have it in my garage.

Rich Maund Bolt On Ural Retro Back Seat

Years ago I bought a back seat from Rich for my Retro. There are threaded holes in the side of the rack. The seat fits over the rack and then bolts go from the side of the seat into the rack. It's got a back rest as well as grab on handles.

I am interested in selling it because I never use it. Kids don't ride on the back of the Retro anymore. Make me an offer. There's a slip on cover for the tractor seat as well. The two make a matching set

The attached photo does not have the handles in place

Not mine, and no personal interest. Just saw this and thought someone else may be into a jewel in the rough.
