Sorry I thought I had the price in the ad. I'm asking 9,000 but an negotiable as it will need a new battery (old one won't hold a charge) and at some point in the future will need tires. Send me an offer to creaser@earthlink.net if your interested.

Questions about your Ural Patrol
Hi,
Thanks for the info. Has the rig received any of the recent Ural upgrades from the 2007 and 2008 model years? Would you post some pics please? ThanX, Ace Quote:

CL find... not mine, just helping lookers
OK, again, not mine, but everyone complains you can't find one near you, so here's one in CL in Northeast Mississippi (Tuplelo)
Only $350. A good deal for someone. I'm tempted just on price.. http://northmiss.craigslist.org/mcy/1138220472.html

WTT: My R100GS for a Sidecar Rig - Ural 2WD Preferred
Hope this is the right place for this:
Looking for a sidecar rig. Either a newer Ural (2wd preferred) or a BMW rig. Must be able to be registered in California. For trade is my extensively modified/rebuilt/farkled 1989 R100GS. Bike is located in Simi Valley, CA. Can go plus cash a bit for the right rig. All of the following were done in the previous 3500 miles (most by the PO at an indicated 42k who built it for an Alaska to Patagonia trip that fell through). True mileage is unknown as the gauges were replaced. Bike runs well and has been very reliable. It has the original tool tray and tools. The biggest issues with the bike are that it will need tires soon (at 25%) and the paint on the tank is peeling in a number of places. The footpeg lowering brackets, Fastway's footpegs (replaced with Valkyrie pegs), GPS and the Wolfman tank bag shown in the photos are not included. Speedo was replaced, true mileage is unknown. Speedo and odometer both work. Currently reads 45k. THE LIST Hotgrip heated grips - replaces BMW parts - Throttle lock - Bar backs - Custom stainless brushguard mounts - Acerbis pro brushguards (solid handlebar lever protection) - New - Throttle cables, Clutch cable - Rebuilt forks (seals, bushes, boots) New fork gaiters and clamps - Race-tech front fork cartridge emulator - Custom wound HD front springs - Rebuilt front caliper - MAP 320mm front rotor - Stainless front brake line - New steering head bearings - Cylinder heads rebuilt by Ted Porter (The Beemer Shop, Scotts Valley) – new seats, new guides, new valves - New - Timing chain, follower, bearing - New valve covers. New piston rings - HPN Oil thermostat and oil cooler relocation kit - Rebuilt carbs (floats, jets, needles, seals, etc) - 2 into 1 ‘Y’ pipe to eliminate stock collector - Rebuilt gearbox – seals, bearings and had circlip groove machined to prevent bearing movement (an achilles heel for GS box’s) - Harley shift peg and shifter modified for big feet. - Overhauled driveshaft with zerc fittings - Fox racing twin clicker rear shock, remote reservoir, air adjustable - New front and rear rubber boots for swing arm - HPH 43 Ltr (11 gallon) nylon fuel tank - HPN Roo Bar - Strengthened/powdercoated rear sub-frame (to prevent breakage with lots of weight and rough roads) - Custom Rick Meyer seat - Jesse luggage – side bags, rear compartment, top box - Sheepskin seat cover - Sidestand fixer - Odyssey high capacity gel battery - 450W brushless alternator (no diode board) - Nipondenso starter - Xtra seat pan - Alaska Leather Sheepskin - Modified Valkyrie foot pegs - Touratech centerstand skid plate - And other stuff I have probably forgotten ![]() ![]()

2005 Ural Gear-Up
This bike was re-built from the frame up at Raceway Services in 2005-06. I bought it from Jim in March of 2006. There are many 2006 upgrades. This bike has not been a trailer queen but definately not been abused. Sure it's been upside down, but that just added charcter to it! It does have some bumps, small dents and bruises but overall this bike is in great shape.
I've rode this bike home from every where I've ridden it. Up to Pacific City, up and over the coast range to Yachats (all off road), all over the Detroit FS roads, several trips to the coast. All over the valley! Right now the bike has about 15500 km. With the nice weather, this will go up! Asking $7500 cash or what do you have to trade? Looking for a nice VW Bus Let me know if you want more pics or info. bcrunk@gmail.com ![]() ![]()

If a vehicle fails DMV inspection they permanently ban that vehicle from being registered in CA, forever. I won't take that chance. I have brought in a number of vehicles over the years but I am always diligent about the emissions sticker being the original and in the correct location. A riding buddy (who is a retired judge in L. A. county) had exactly that scenario happen to him.

Ebay
Here's the ultimate farkle for mounting on the nose of a hack. Buy it for $60. A deal at twice the price. I hope to Hell that I'm in no way affiliated with the seller.
