I skipped a whole lot of more challenging riding that was outside of the Adventure Cycling maps in NM CO and Mt. For example there is a lot of great single track in the Jemez that makes the Adventure Cycling route in NM look like an interstate run--same is true in the other states I'm sure.

I wanted to assess the route on the Adventure cycling maps and for the most part BigDog's .gpx followed that route--so I stuck to it. About the only thing I changed on his routing was where he deviated from Adventure Cycling maps--or when I missed a turn!
