Yes they are rare and most of them were sold here in Europe, but oddly total of 4 968s for sale in Finland and three of them are Club Sports.

So 75% of the available cars are club sports

Probably the second coolest 968 street car you can buy. Great car. Awesome chassis, light, good motor. Cool car.

Sweet. To my eye, there's still a whole bunch of 356 styling left in those SWB's. I love 'em.

Thanks.

That Metralla is a 1965 Model 8 200cc
I call it the Porsche 911 Normal of motorcycles
(The '67 Model 23 Metralla 250 being the SWB "S")

Though maybe I should be calling the early SWB Porsche the Metralla 8 of cars...

They both give me the exact same feeling of direct connectedness to the road.
You might say they are both underpowered - but on a back road full of twisties they feel soooo right. No wasted horsepower. Just the right amount on a platform designed to get the job done. And the sound .....
I just don't understand the need for 600 hp cars and 200 hp bikes that on almost every road ( not race track ) average drivers ( and most are more average than they would want to know) cannot use half that power and have all kinds of driving aids to separate you from being the one in control of what the vehicle is doing.
As they say it's much more fun to drive a slow car fast than it is to drive a fast car slow.

For example (not your average driver)

Wow. It would be interesting to find out what sort of planetary alignment happened to get three such rare cars in one small area. Then again, of the 7,000 Cabriolets ever made, three of them were worked on at the shop in Las Vegas I used, including one of the rarest combinations out there, Purple with Magenta Leather.

If it were me, I'd apply the adage "trust, but verify." It would suck if one, or all, of them turned out to be like "the RSR that wasn't" thread that was boiling a few years ago on the Pelican Parts forum. Then again, weirder things have happened. Who would have ever guessed that one guy would end up with 25 red Vanagans.

Rohrl vs. Waldegard - awesome

And here is a good one that shows the outer limits of driving a SWB
