See my earlier post... still works. Tried it this morning, but of course, as the previous poster mentioned, you only get 8% back instead of 30% like on Thanksgiving weekend.

Make sure blocking of cookies is turned off. Sign in to live.com and the cashback site.

Search for an item on ebay using the live.com search engine until an item comes up in the search with the a banner saying that live cashback is available. I seached for "Garmin Zumo 550" when I got mine. Once your in ebay you can look for any Buy it Now item and get the cashback on it. Make sure there is a banner at the top of the Ebay page showing that you will get the cashback. You must pay for it with PayPal.

Got 30% off a Zumo 550 and 30% off a set of new tires, but that was only the weekend after black Friday.

I took the plunge and tried http://www.techondigital.com/ for a Zumo 450 for $284 shipped. Costco is not around here, and with tax and their 2% non member fee it was approaching $400 fast, so I bailed.

Hope I get it and have a good experience. I know I am being a tight ass and it might end up costing me in the end, I will keep you posted.

Yeah, I got burned by technondigital on Monday. . .F*^%ers. There is a whole list of possible retailers on a site called Everyprice.com. They are all scammers!! Its un-f*&^ing-believable. I tried 5 of them and they all had their own little special way of screwing me.

Anyway, I came to ADV to see if i could get some advice about this and ended up here. Looks like we're all in the same boat if we're trying to get something for under $330.

. . .unless someone else knows the scoop?

Magellan 1412 at Meijer for $150. The in-store ad sheet has a $20 off anything over $100 coupon. You also get a free $20 case. My Meijer was out of the cases and gave me an additional $20 off. Total price: $110.

The 1412 is a widescreen that speaks street names.

Just picked up a Garmin GPSMAP 76Cx from Amazon (or one of their sellers more specifically) for $189.94 shipped to my door.

Looks new and nowhere did it say reconditioned or anything that would leave to me believe it is anything but new.

I was looking on eBay and there were only two completed sales for less than this amount and most were for more, so if it arrives and is new, it seems like a good deal.

Thoughts?
