I am so envious of you! You live in a great part of the world! I will be back one day. I'm sorry if you are not German, but like many of the places we visited the German people were so kind and helpfull.

We got lost on the way to the Czech Republic after we came off the motorway to fuel up and take on some food, the satnav decided to have a sleep and failed to work, I didn't even know where we were

We were just sat on the bike at the side of the road looking at the map trying to remember town names we had passed when a kind gentleman pulled up in front of us. He asked if he could help, and after I explained he told us to follow him and he led us back to the motorway it's the things like this that really make the trip for me!

Great report, and great to hear about the helpful people when you're out on the road. It warms the heart to read such things.

Great report, thanks for sharing.

If I can ask, what do you think of the Tuareg suit ?

Cheers,
John

Spot on John. I got the suit for the trip as I guessed the weather would be warm, it was hot! Sometimes 38/40 degrees. There's loads of vents on the jacket, but only two on the pants, but it was comfortable and kept me cool.

Cheers

Gav

Outstanding Ride Report Gav.
Ride Reports like this is the reason I don't visit the Board often.
Makes me yearn for the road and with not enough vacation time to enjoy
a two-three week trip just makes it worse. But they do give me
hope. Right now I've got the time off work but unable to ride (back surgery)

DeeGee, in the picture with the Happy Bday banner, was the young lady holding the end giving you the finger behind her arm?

Thanks again for bringing us along and I'm glad you were able to share
the experance with the woman you love.

Ride Safe

Andy

Andy sorry to hear about your back my friend. I hope it works out for you I think the girl (my nephews girl friend) in the picture has got her phone in her other hand? If not I think you may be right and giving us the bird I'll ask her next time I see her

I never realised I didn't post the final pictures to go with the text.

Here you go

Jack and I at the finish

And finally me with the cake and Champagne.
