When I went to Yellowstone in the 1950s (Hey gimme a break, I was just a little kid. ) bears were wandering everywhere- standing in the road, and raiding garbage cans. So, when I went back on my bike in the 1990s, I asked at the gate about the hazard of having no cage around me. The guard didn't quite laugh at me, but did smile, and assure me that I would be safe.

You still might come across a bear or two, but the park does manage them differently nowadays, and I didn't see even one while I was there.

Nice! whatever design is chosen it should have the riders name on it. Lu Fei, this time.

Have a great trip Lu Fei, and don't miss San Francisco's Chinatown. I hope to meet you.

Chanderjeet:

Using this template, would you show a representation of a large version of the 2009
sticker design on the back of a tee and a smaller version on the front pocket area?

Our designers need to bear in mind keeping the design simple, easy to read, and as
few colors as necessary.

Just a thought, the ADV logo ought to be incorporated. Maybe dead center above the sheild with the International Friendship wording above it.

Lu Fei,

If you make it to Utah, you have a place to stay here if needed and riding company as well.

Is a National Parks pass still needed? I have one with an empty signature spot. PM me with an addy if still needed.

I'll be riding up from Palm Springs to LAX to meet Lu. We will need a local house for him to relax at for a day or two before he heads north. If I can get the time away, I'll ride up to Big Sur with him and anyone else who wants to join us.

My bike is still available for this journey if another one more suitable and closer to LA isn't offered up.

Not to put any pressure on but I'd like to know soon if the bike will be used so I can get it in the shop and have it serviced and gone over to be sure he can do his ride trouble free.

I enjoyed watching CJ and Alex's travels and sure am looking forward to watching this adventure too.
