Sold to Treadless on credit! Transalp 1990/91

SOLD This is a very nice 1990 Transalp with 8,750 miles. The body work has been completely changed to the 1991 G137M European color which was never sold in the US. This is probably the only Transalp in the US with this color so you won't be seeing another one of these for sale. This bike has had a full frame up restoration and is all original with no mods except for the front brake upgrade and the GIVI bars. Plastic is in nice condition but not perfect.

Lot's of other images upon request. $3900.00 firm. Clean N. C. title in hand. NO trades. Serious inquiries only.

Below is a partial list of work completed during restoration.

Front Brake up grade, Hawk NT650 large 320mm diameter Rotor.
Valves Adjusted.
New NGK plugs.
New Hand grips.
Carbs rebuilt and synchronized.
Carb Vacuum piston air breather filters replaced.
Petcock screen removed and cleaned.
All shock linkage and swing arm removed, cleaned and greased.
Headset races replaced, bearings cleaned and installed.
Oil and Filter changed.
Air Filter replaced, air box cleaned out.
Forks drained and fluid replaced. 1 7/8” preload spacers added.
Coolant drained, flushed system, added new coolant.
Brake lines flushed with cleaner, fresh brake fluid added.
New exhaust header seals installed.
New CDI upgrade holder and one new CDI unit installed.
Good Battery
Electrical connections removed, cleaned and re-installed.
Switches cleaned, lubed and re-installed.
Speedo cable and cable drive cleaned, greased and re-installed.
Brake Pedal pivot removed, cleaned, and greased.
Brake and Clutch levers removed, pivot pins cleaned and greased.
Inspected Wheel bearings.
Added new Givi crash guards.

I was not sure if I would like this green on green, it just doesn't sound "motorcycle" to me and doesn't show that well in photos. Having said that I have really grown to like it and everyone who sees it sure likes it.

All pm's returned.

Photo attached is before the GIVI guard was installed.

Gorgeous bike. Fell in love with the color scheme on a bike I saw in Spain once. Bump it up in search of the right buyer. Wish it were me.

Thought I better clarify that the restoration was recent and not a old project so everything still sparkles. Photos are current.

It's a curse, I just love making these bikes like new again. It's amazing what time does to these machines when the just sit in a shed and not ridden.
