Two years ago on Easter my dad came dragging this home.......



He has been doing a bit of fiddling with it. As it sits now.....





Adventure bike as it was in 1942..
Guess I'm not gonna get to make a Bobber out of this one.

Just to keep the dust from building up on the Metric tools we went through these in the last couple months also....

Maybe...this is how it turned out:



Smoked it longer than I meant to. It ran all the way up to 140. Pulled it from the smoker while I got some coals nice & hot to crisp up the outside.

Turned out pretty OK.

Pork shoulder is still out there but it's at about 190 right now so it's almost done

My grandpa Leighton who was born in 1901. We found this postcard last year in some family stuff.

Cool pic, I wish I had one of my dad and his 4 cyl. Henderson. I beleive it was the only bike he ever had.

I think it Bumped him, and he went back to horses.

He was born a year after your grandpa.
