Sunrise in North Dakota

Traveling the High Line in North Dakota, just west of the Pembina River near the old town of Vang.

Westward for a quick mug up near the Little Pembina.

Great pictures in this thread. I took a trip this past summer heading northeast from Denver, up to Scottsbluff, over to Laramie and back to Denver. Love that part of the country - it's so different from anything in the east.

Last, but not least, a common sight on the plains...

Just guessing, but I'd say based on the cockpit instruments and the view out the window....November 78277 was level at eighty-five hundred, southwest bound over central Kansas, perhaps west of Salina or Great Bend, with a stop for gas up ahead in Dalhart TX or Tucumcari, NM...Nice plane......

A little off topic but, my first plane was a 1972 Grumman Traveler AA5, N5816L. Took my instrument training and check ride in it! Probably have 300-400 hours in it. (I'm too lazy to check my log book)
