There has been a flat move, within the same block in the project into the room of the dead man here at The Place. Twatty Flatshare 2 (The Addict) has been carted off somewhere due to some infraction or other. I don’t know the details for two clear & simple reasons – 1: It’s not my business and I’ve no right of knowledge, and B: I don’t give no fuck. No amount of fuck is given.

He’d been on the B list, in that the Polis came on day 2 of an operation aimed at pulling the town Class A supply chain. As shown in 1 above, I’ve no insight into his actions or behaviour, due in no small part to B above. At some early hour several coppers (as distinguished from Copper Heads) tramped into the flat just like that scene from Life of Brian… Let's see if I can find it... ah, 5.30 in -



They left similarly empty handed, and another lot came the following day (as @ 7.10 above), this time in civvies rather than the now ubiquitous black uniforms that I, in my blue-collar foolishness, thought had been the subject of some war in the mid 20th century? They again left without securing a catch, but over the following period it became clear from infinitesimal passing comments by staff that he’d shot his bolt here. Confirmation arrived in the form of his Pater Familias to clear out most of his stuff, all the time seemingly wearing sharps gloves. Staff then cleared the remaining filth'n'clutter and the flat was once more visited by the Gloucestershire based painty man, who had to rip out the carpet and, I think, fill in the stash hole cut into the wall behind a removed piece of skirting board. I say think because I recall overhearing a TF2 late night shouty down his phone to a friend episode in which his baggy had fallen thru/ough a hole in the rear of his excavations and three floors down in the wall cavity…
