I mean, everybody knows that we share about 98% of our DNA sequence with chimpanzees, and I'd like to point out under those circumstances that we share about half our DNA sequence with bananas, so we are in the sense of the tree of life really scarcely to be distinguished from common fruits & vegetables...

It's only taken 20 years...

But here's an interesting article on Williams Active Suspension which came to championship fruition in '92... In some ways a root for the current BMW ranges electronically adjustable suspension?

Excellent work Jings.....this machine fits in very well with the Martha Farquar Corporate Design Ethos*, I took the liberty of lightening up your pic so that we could see just what was going on with this sterling steed. Vair, vair interesting

* Strip as much off as possible, then go a bit further just to be sure.

ie Dynamic Damping Control As part of its BMW Motorrad Innovation Day 2011, BMW again looks to the future with a semiactive suspension control system called Dynamic Damping Control or, in short, DDC.

Here's one I made earlier.....astute viewers will note the well-known fork gaiter modification - towhit, 11 bellows on the left hand fork and 13 on the right ( never the other way around for obvious reasons) which does wonders for resonant baffling of the equidistant spring dampening forces and counteracts negative bounce rate factors on positive camber turns when the wind is in the west. Some people are adamant that this makes no difference whatsoever, but what do they fucking know....eh?
