Todays pictures were brought to you by the search-terms Airhead Swinging Arm & Braced.

Tho/ough I flush cookies & other cached items both on this machine & in any remote identities I find it interesting that Google image search increasingly primarily throws up images from ADVriders based sources in these search results. This must say something about the efficacy & reach of this site and its envelopment of the subject of airheads...

This would, tho/ough, obviate the oil cooler feed as usually applied.

Unless one used one of these ones?

Exquisite tho/ough the pairing is, it would come in at something around €498* excluding import duty & carriage.

* 420.42 or $649.33

Or for €199 ($259.57/168.01) one could raise the engine by approx 3mm, tho/ough I don't see any specific ref to forward movement? On the other hand the seeming rearwards positioning of the frame connection bolt holes does seem to give forward movement?

I wonder if the external filter/deep sump & applicable oil cooler fit with this?, the 1st pic seems to indicate it's possible? Or at least that a sump deepening ring can be used in co-ordination with the risers? Would the front filter foul the exhaust crossover pipe or bring it into too close proximity re heat transference?

It's be interesting to see a block with a variety of their products applied.

Given the lottery end of Lottery or Lobotomy* I'd like to run one of these run with just one of my Supertrapp Spark Arrestor end-cap strapped on, though I suspect the pipe may foul my braced swingarm?

A cheap & useful addition which brings the functionality of a K series engine oil level window to an airhead gearbox, also allowing one to monitor the condition of the gearbox lubricant.

Of course all of these things are un-gettable, as I am a pauper*

That right there is a brilliant looking bit of kit . Who has fitted one that will vouch for its merits?

Had we not copywritten the nomenclature already? Tsk tsk...

Still, they may have their uses...
