Wow. Did you see the Nimbus? I've never seen a Nimbus before. I'm impressed. Thanks

Happy New Year.

BTW, the R69S forgot to turn on his petcock, at the end, typical.

I'm sure a good time was had by all, the bikes are so disparate that apart from the 4 cylinder Japs there can't be much of a competition, but who cares.
Man, I'd love to have one of those insane large capacity 2-strokes.

To ride thru/ough these unfit roads…

Now, it’s perhaps fair to say that some things leave me angry and frustrated. Well, it’s entirely fair to say pretty much everything does one way or another. But here, in this pointless whine of a post I may attempt to lay out for you (and/or maybe me here too) a few of the things that get to me the most. Some (pretty much all) of what I may have to say may seem pointless or disjointed, an accumulation of simplisms. Especially when one considers that for some of this to make sense you would have to take into account various underlying principles which I either don’t have time to go into here, or I (and/or maybe you there too) may be two stoopid to unnerstannn anyway…

So:
  • All financial systems & functions. The existence of zero as a numerical concept as first defined by the Babylonians. The imposition of an imaginary cost for housing & basic life needs. The constrictive outcomes of Land Enclosure.
  • The innate nature of humanity and the gene race. Constantly recurring immutable sets of idiotic behaviour spanning all time & circumstance, expressed in every way at every time slice as seen thru/ough the all engulfing waterfall of history & news.
  • The commonly resident delusion that all progress thru/ough history is one of inevitable forward movement, or indeed the inverse. That things are either better, or worse, depending on your selected preference & prejudices.
  • Science as a religion that proves its own dogma. Religion as a science whose dogma is its own proof - Polar representations of the human requirement to believe in belief
  • The realm of the senses, and everything that could mean, in every texture, flavour & taste that’s there to savour or select, if available, which it’s not. Those that live die and those that should die live. This frequency based reality of which we glimpse only a undersized scrap.
  • Fate, should such a thing exist (it doesn’t). So if not fate as such then at least that long line of undeserved contemptible events that string together to be the merciless catalogue of disastrous stories we live out in this carbon corporeality.
  • Power & powerlessness as expressed in both Macro & Microscopic contexts & occurrences. The Humanzee need to have fillers for the following three fundamental questions: Where do we come from?; Why are we here and/or what do we do?; What happens after this?
That’s all I got, and that’s too much…

Too deep for me, Planktonnn.
May your new year be filled with unpunctured ty/ires, unbusted headlights, and unboogered axle threads.

Awww issss not too deeeep if one becomes aware of the various supporting factualisations referred to in the introductory paragraph. As an example of the third issue raised in the first bullet point - Since the '80s here in the Former United Commonwealth Kingdoms house prices have increased six times more than wages...

Now how can that come to be so?

It is my sad duty to tell you all that Peter has died. I am told he passed away last night from what I understand to be the results of a massive cancer of the pancreas, stomach & liver. An illness which he chose not to share here, I hope he wouldn't mind me posting this. Being the selfish ogre that I am, I have to mention it, because I know some of you here held him in as high regard as I do, and must say that I would have taken it from him onto myself if I could.

He has been the dearest friend of all my life, and I wish he had been my brother. My deepest thoughts are with his family & friends, and all my love. There are no words except to say that he was a man so full of life that he burst my bubble on more than one occasion, for which I am constantly grateful, and more power to him for it XOX
