Where's my sidecar....?

29,379 views. You know you've got a quality product for a quality audience, when you're getting those kind of numbers....fuck, I'd screw 'em all for $25 each if it didn't breach Martha Farquar GloPo* rules.....damn those Corporate Ethics...

Anyway, been over at planktonnn's plush new batchelor-pad in the chic 'Industrial Quarter' today, for a high-level finance meeting. We were able to conclude that we were both, in fact, skint. That meant, obviously, that Martha Farquar International was trading illegally...however, due to the fact that MarFar was never legal in the first place, we felt that they** could all go fuck themselves with the splintered end of a great big fat tree trunk. The only other item on the agenda was a brief discussion as to meds dosages, clinical diagnoses and airhead wiring gremlins....strange yet true.

Here's an arty airhead pic

Also....

Came across this pic of a 9 cylinder BMW radial aero engine....imagine what it'd do if it was mounted in the back wheel of a penny-farthing, or even in an enormous unicycle, eh? EH??

Of course I think we'd all appreciate a full write up of the Friday as well as the tumble itself. Please tell me it wasn't early in the day & you had to sit around for the remainder...

Hmmm...

Thought I'd just post a nice pic of dirtyboydeadly's bike after the face plant.
I wonder if he was simply going too fast? I know a lot of people make the mistake of thinking that these race tracks are for going around at excessive speeds...not so. By 'going too fast' a rider does run the risk of 'falling off' and scraping themselves (and the bike) along the tarmac, thereby scuffing and bending parts that wouldn't otherwise be scuffed or bent. My solution to this problem is to 'not go so fast'....try this next time, dirtyboydeadly, as I think you'll find that you'll be able to go all the way around the 'race' track and get to the finishing point without any mishaps. No, don't thank me, I'm only offering this advice in the spirit of sensible motorcycling

My solution to this problem is to 'not go so fast'...... Boring

Crash happened with only 35 mins of track time left so not to bad.
Once I straighten the front end so it points forward and make a new number plate holder it will be back on the road.

Just as well I wasn't on the firestorm. Bits of plastic everywhere

Fixed the above to actually show the pics.

Sweet looking bike. Looks like both sides got on the mud at least. Did not completely trash the valve cover either Hope rider is unhurt.

And so I have offered 12. I'm willing to go up to 12.75, but only if he changes the number on the headlight shell & tail by removing the two so the number reads the same if the bike upside down, which is only sensible given the circumstances, which I had described to me by a grinning DirtyBack-of-the-Leather-suit-covered-in-Welsh-mud-Deadly.

A pic of the crash itself is attached, and I have given DBD a certificate for being slightly KKKeeerrraaazzzeee*, in appropriate recognition of his valiant attempt at taking 'down hill into an off camber left' type corners with a little too much 'AAAIIIEEEEEE' !!!?!!!** - I told him there were very few Nazis left on Anglesey (not hiding behind the outside kerbing on the last corner anyway), now it's mostly just the descendents of Druids and a few skin-flint Flemish that bought cheap Satnavs in Walloon***

I must add that I did tell him not to watch 'The Great Escape' on the onboard DVD in the Mega Space-wagon on the way up there, and 'Dan' I said, 'Remember the Welsh were mostly on our side'.

Also, why are there no pictures of the tent blowing away? It's a bleedin' outrage**** And if you were really trying there would have been some helmet damage (no link I'm afraid, even I'm not searching for that one on Google images with the content filter off, you should have seen what came up when I was looking for 'Chicken Pussy' in relation to post 788...)

For what it's worth I'd give the following advice: 'To finish first, first you have to finish sliding across North Western Wales'. I suspect DBD was just seeking to emulate Ayrton Senna when he worked out that he could put in a faster lap by purposely spinning out of the last corner at Magny Cours, which was very close to the timing line.
