I ended up ignoring this cable an wired a new cable in from the battery so it's on all the time.

Just thought I'd share, I did WSBK last week/this week on the Ten with some friends.
This is her on the boarder on The Barry Way.

Did 2,500 k's in 4 days of riding. We did The Barry Way twice because of road closures when we got to Dargo which turned us around.

After my first decent tour on the Ten I did feel one thing only that I really need to do next, that is suspension. I had wound up the pre-load on the front which did help but loaded up I could feel it will be the next thing to address.

So a visit to Technik is in order and we'll see where that takes me.

same problem as you had can i ask where you got the screws
put on a new screen two weeks ago and fell over in the driveway smashing the new screen. Putting the Yamaha screen back on till i get one from OTR

The plastic screws are from the same place Mike..OTR. In the interim you can get stainless ones from one of the nut/bolt shops. I got mine on Cavan Rd.

I have Greg, as you are in Sydney you are welcome to try mine on your bike if you want before you purchase. I don't like it, it doesn't carry enough for the big trips, it carries it to high, hits on my camel back when in the sand. The Wolfman bags and racks get it low the combination also protects the bike if you throw it down and they are 100% water proof.
I use mine on the 650 for overnighters and loan it to mates

Possibly, I was about to fit a sticker to my screen, so to clean it I dabed a rag in some acetone = 1 fucked screen

So a few scratches might be acceptable now

This company in the UK do though so you can either buy overseas or see if the Gold Coast company can get the graphic design for it.

Visited Craig at Tee n Cee (he and Tim have since sold the business but TeeNCee are still in Penrith and would still have the temps) and had tank protectors made and fitted. Mine were made out of a tough clear contact and in the day light they are hard to see but you have the piece of mind when your knees are rubbing against the tank that your paint is protected. They are still there today some 50k and 900hrs later.

(TeeNCee arent a supporter sponsor of my site I dont deal with them anymore the old owners made by protectors that I paid for is all and they have lasted)
