There are lots of people looking either seriously or casually at this bike and I'm sure that some are BMW owners and some are Suzuki owners and some are KTM owners and some are Honda owners and god fotbid some might even be Yamaha owners. |

Mate, Mick was there and showed me over the bike. I'm beginning to think that he, along with you and others that went riding are a bad influence on me, but dont tell my Mrs .Will try and organise a ride on it and go from there. It would look nice beside the others, but so would the F8, Decisions Decisions. |

They just annouced they'll be selling them in NZ. At $16K I dunno if they'll sell that many when you can buy a DR650 for 9K or a KLR for 10K.

Just put my money down on one, the local dealer had one coming in my choice of colour. It was meant to be.
I hear people saying that why all the $ when a cheaper bike will do the same. Yeah well it's the same as anything, I drive a $80,000 Landrover Disco 3, yeah I could have bought a Hyundi or Prado or Mitsub etc etc, for a fraction of the price, but it's "right" for me! I believe the disco 3 has soul & after owning several Teneres over the years I believe they have too. I know it's "right" for me. Like anything it's a personal feeling & choice. If we were all the same life would be so boreing. Can't wait. Cheers, Al |

Went to Ag show yesterday & checked em out,There was a white retro one at the Dalby Moto stand &a Bluey at Toowoomba Yam.Both were display only models rushed in from Yamaha .they reckoned they didn't even have a key for em ,so couldn'teven run them. They looked the goods, quite heavily built, good to load up with all your gear &travel. |

Peter Stevens Ferntree Gully have one on the floor. It's real I have sat on the thing.
Black. It's some sort of pre release model so I guess it probably belongs to Yamaha, it's new but has a couple of marks on it. $13,990.00 + ORC but "we are doing ripper pre release deals this weekend during our sale". |
