Thrashers Terrifying Treck 2009

It was a damp start 1030 at Gundaroo NSW

Rosscoat, Fish and Son (sounds like a law firm) arrive and are off
Son's exploits in the skate park on the CT110 are are now legendary

Beemer Downunder and Dirty Dennis arrived and we had a short but atmospheric journey to Collector and on to Goulburn in the drizzle.

A neat yamaha - the fella who owns it reckons they will make a great light ADV bike

So no rain at the site? Pissed down all day in Canberra on Sat. Rally looks like a dirt bike convention.

Took the tar over Bells Line and down thru Shooters Hill to Taralga
Was pissing down and I wasthinking about turning around. While refueling at Mt Vic the clouds cleared and blue sky appeared.

In spite of rain overnight the track out was reasonable with only a few interesting patches

On the way back via Oberon I thought it was going to piss down at Shooters Hill

Turned out to be snow, Now wonder why my hands were cold in summer gloves

I put my Goretex gloves on and was still cold.
The 'moments' from being blown over to 45 degrees did warm me up a bit tho
