It looks like I'm a little late in joining the party but still in time for the best part - - - The ride
Ddrags could you put the link to the klicky page in your sig line too? I don't know about everyone else but I'm willing to click it each time I check out what you guys are up. This is going to be some mighty terrific winter time entertainment.

Hey, knobbies are for sissies! Or maybe just lucky SOB's? Mano - thanks for the links to the maps, those will come in handy... swill4U-crown4me screwed with this post 09-01-2009 at 01:17 PM |

I don't think that I've ever seen the Sammy Hagard "Cant drive 55" video and haven't heard the song for ages. It's got me all pumped for a court appearance I have for a ticket doing a U-turn to get out of a traffic jam!
You guys look earily like Felix and Oscar. Great buildup, now can't wait for the trip! |

I was just reading my new Cycle World, and Peter Egan's Leanings column made me think of this thread.
Although the trip has not yet started, this excerpt sounds like it could come from some future post: "Dave is another survivor of our off-road trek through Mexico's Copper Canyon two years ago, during which Mike tried to murder us by taking a 'scenic shortcut' through the mountains to Batopilas, as recommended by a drunken German in a cantina." Now I am trying whether Arno is Mike, or the German.

LOL, you mean there's a difference between "balling" and "bawling ?" Evidently you haven't learned to just go with what I MEAN and not on what I actually say???
