I caught up with your RR a couple months ago... when work it slow I've been reading it ever since! I wished your RR would never end! I can imagine how you feel now that it's over! Wow what an epic travel and kudos for grabbing the opportunity when it presented itself!

My heart sank when your laptop got stolen....arrrrrg! But you recovered well and kept on rolling. I do appreciate the way you process life.

Thank you sir for taking us all along with you!

God Bless and good luck with your future endeavors!

Thanks amigo. I wished it would have never ended as well. I'm doing a little short ride from the Mexican border up to Alaska this year, and although I am looking forward to it, I'm not real excited about it. It's not like traveling in unfamiliar territory in a foreign land. It doesnt give me the same stoke, but will be mildly entertaining nonetheless.

Thanks for the kind words!

Vin

Hiya Vinnie

Hows it going back in civilian life mate? Hope you have settled in ok. You still seeing the lovely Agueda?

I was reminded of you the other day watching The Ice Road Truckers - Andes edition show on History channel here, they were sending these guys up and down Cañon del Pato in beat up Volvo trucks. They called it "Dead Nun Canyon" for some reason?

Like you real life has overtaken me a bit with issues at work requiring my full attention, that plus Katie and my son George being with me now means riding takes a back seat. I still have the daily hooligan commute across Santiago to keep me sane, plus the odd weekend here and there. Best news is Kate now rides with me for the first time in our 27 year marriage, so that adds a dimension to life and riding that I did not have before.

One benefit is we have a nice spread up in the hills near the ski resorts outside Santiago, so if you ever find yourself on an overnight in Santiago we would be really happy to host you, make a change from a same-old hotel eh?

Keep well brother!

Martyn

Actually, I just edited my very first post of the RR to start out with this little vid. Somehow it seemed appropriate.

Ben that is freakin hilarious, I love it!. I'm not sure it can get you out of a mordida but it sure can cause the cops to bust a gut, which is just as good.

Martyn! Good to hear things are well with you mate. Those were some good times hanging out with you in Santiago. I'm dragging Agueda up to Alaska on the KTM in another month probably. We'll see how far she makes it before she tells me that she doesnt want to die on a moto and makes me drop her off at the nearest airport to fly the rest of the way.

If, no, when I get back down to Chile, I will be for sure drinking your beer and snoring on your couch. You wife will kick me out in about 4 hours probably.

You mean the incredibly dramatic trailer music? Its just something that comes with iMovie, not sure how to get at it though to send it off to you.

Out of the dead, he arises. Great to see you are still truckin. Or, perhaps I just missed the thread for a while. Your "trailer" brought a morning chuckle.

Been a while since I checked in here. I feel like many do that you, Vincente are a god. Someone should make one of those paintings of you like they did for che'. I would buy a shirt or poster like that in a flash. Which rhymes with Crash, maybe you should just add "and then some" to the end of the title and be like the Darth Peach? just sayin.

I've read this twice. When I first started Crash was in the middle of the ride and it took awhile to catch up..

Vincent had a great ride and gave an even better report, now it may be time for you and me to do a ride to SA. I think about this every day and hope one day to make it happen..
